While our son was helping to water and feed the chickens today, he found the surpise we have been waiting for. Two small brown eggs. The kids were so excited they could hardly contain it. They couldn't wait to call Dad and tell him. All three kids had to tell Dad all about the eggs.
It will be nice to have our own supply of eggs. I love the color and taste of fresh eggs. They have such a bright yellow yolk. It is nice to see all our efforts paid off.
